When selecting a dive shop it is important to carefully review their credentials.  Being informed makes for safe and happy divers!  Key factors to check out include:

Is the shop endorsed by PADI or a PADI certified 5 STAR facility?

What are the credentials and ratings of their staff Instructors?

How many certifications has their store completed?

Do they have factory trained and certified technicians on hand to assess and repair equipment?

Do they have state certified tank Visual Inspectors?

Do they have in-house certified gas blenders?

Is their air tested and certified by an independent lab to ensure premium air quality and safety?

When looking for a scuba shop, ask these questions and ask to see licenses and certifications to make sure you will receive a safe, high-quality experience whether you are learning to dive for the first time or need equipment servicing.  Scuba is a FUN and SAFE activity when you work with the experts in the field!
